Mountain Makers is a monthly indie art fair designed to cultivate community. Over 20 artisans sell handmade and vintage goods at 308 N. Haywood St., Waynesville. Sept. 5: Dog Days of Summer featuring pet adoptions via Sarge's Animal Rescue. Oct. 3: Octoberfest, celebrating all things fall and apple fresh.
